Vetiver essential oil is sourced from a sturdy member of the grass family. Unlike other grasses, vetiver roots grow down, preventing erosion and stabilizing the soil.

Vetiver oil has a rich, grounding, and exotic aroma that’s popular in perfumery and massage therapy. Rub Vetiver essential oil on the bottoms of the feet before bedtime as you prepare for a restful night’s sleep.

Uses

• Incorporate Vetiver essential oil into a relaxing massage. 
• Take a warm bath, adding a few drops of Vetiver oil for a calming scent. 
• Diffuse Vetiver essential oil with Lavender, doTERRA Serenity^®, or doTERRA Balance^®.
• Retrieve the desired amount of Vetiver oil from the bottle with a toothpick if it’s too thick to pour out.  

Directions for Use

Aromatic use: Place three to four drops of Vetiver essential oil in the diffuser of your choice.

Internal Use: Add one drop of Vetiver oil to four fluid ounces of liquid.

Topical use: Apply one to two drops of Vetiver essential oil to the desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
